The Loan Application

The strongest buyers have already secured financing pending an appraisal when submitting a contract on a home. We encourage you to call us before your home-finding trip to begin the process with one of our pre-screened lenders.

When working with Kentwood Relocation, you may be eligible to receive savings on closing costs associated with your mortgage, so don't make a move without us.

A loan application requires a lot of detailed information. The lender needs to get a clear picture of your financial status, both assets and liabilities.

To speed up the process, you will need to have the following information with you:

  • Major credit card account numbers, balances outstanding and the monthly payments you make.
  • Social security numbers for both you and your spouse.
  • Face amount, monthly premiums and cash values of your whole life insurance policies. If the cash value is to be used as a portion of your down payment and/or closing costs, documentation from the insurance company of the present cash value will be required.
  • If you or your spouse has ever been divorced, copies of all applicable divorce decrees.
  • Names, addresses, dates of employment and rates of pay from all employers for the past five years.
  • If self-employed, tax returns for the last two years.
  • Bank names, addresses, account numbers and balances for all checking and savings accounts.
  • Details of stocks and bonds owned.
  • Location and estimated value of all real estate currently owned and the balance and payments on all outstanding mortgages.
  • Year, model, value and loan balances for your automobiles.
  • Details of any other assets and/or debts.
